Victoria Kjos, is a former Judge Pro Tempore of the Maricopa County Superior Court. Victoria has been a licensed attorney in Arizona since 1978, and has an extensive background in family law (including complicated property issues and disputes, pension and tax matters, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, spousal Maintenance, child support and custody matters). She has taught legal education programs to other attorneys and college courses on frequent occasions. Victoria is the former Chairperson of the Maricopa County Bar Association Family Law Section, and served on the Executive Committee of the State Bar Of Arizona Family Law Committee.

Victoria earned her J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota where she was a Senior Editor of the North Dakota Law Review. She also has a M.S. degree, with honors, from Arizona State University, and a B.A., cum laude, from Minor State University. She was co-author of the domestic relations column for Summation magazine for several years, served on the Editorial Board of The Maricopa Lawyer, and has published family law articles on various subjects in several legal and professional journals.

Victoria has been a partner in preeminant law firms in the State, and is an excellent addition to Bishop Law Office's array of top family law attorneys. Victoria has served as a Deputy County Attorney, as well as an Assistant Attorney General, and has an excellent background in complex financial issues which give her an advantage in the family law arena where many attorneys do not share such a strong financial background.

Although Victoria is committed to settling family law cases so long as such is in the client's best interests, Victoria has extensive trial experience and does not shy away from adversarial cases.
