Hello, I am Fred Ruotolo, I am an attorney in the Metropolitan Phoenix area handling all aspects of family law matters. These matters include but are not limited to divorce, enforcing or changing terms of an existing court order, custody of children, parenting time (visitation) child support, spousal maintenance (alimony), grand parent's rights, paternity, and many other issues involving marriages, divorce, children, and families.

When I was fourteen years old my parents and I moved from New York to Arizona and I never thought of calling any other state home since then. My passion for family law stems from my belief that everyone deserves a stable family life. There are enough outside stresses to your peace than to have to be fighting with your current or former spouse or partner, be it over the division of a business, retirement accounts, or sadly, over your rights regarding your own child. Early on in practicing law, I realized how so few attorneys understand how the emotional aspects of a family law dispute can affect a person's decision making process during possibly one of the most import periods in their life. Those few people who have been lucky enough not to have had to deal with a major personal crisis probably just do not understand how devastating divorce or other family law matter can be. Please keep in mind that the court will generally accept any terms parties can reach on their own. This means there is literally an endless combination of resolution possibilities. However, if parties can not reach a settlement than the issues they have not reached an agreement on will have to go to a judge to be ruled on in a trial.
